Upcoming Beer & Wine Tastings
Please join us at the i.m.Wine tasting bar every Friday and Saturday from 1-7pm; this week we are tasting…
Friday-Saturday, August 3-4
1-7PM
Since the heat and humidity is once again upon us, we decided to return to those great cold, dry Rose's that make a hot day more bearable.
We also thought we'd take a cue from the folks in New Orleans 'cause they know how to beat the heat - with the cool brews from the Abita Brewery and the famous Hurricane Cocktail (founded by Pat O'Brien in the 1940's in the French Quarter.)
We've got the beer; we've got the wine and we've even got the Rum to go along with the original Pat O'Brien Hurricane mix. Now all you need is a deck, a lounge chair, a few friends and you're set.
Join us at i.m.Wine's tasting bar this Friday and Saturday from 1 - 7 pm to learn how to stay real cool.
By the way, if you're in a hurry, call or e-mail us your order and we'll have it ready for you.
Beer Tasting, "Big Easy" Style!!!

Founded in 1986, the Abita Brewing Company is nestled in the piney woods 30 miles north of New Orleans. Abita uses only the finest ingredients - British and American barley, German yeast, European and Washington State hops and the pure artesian water of Abita Springs.
AMBER LAGER $7.99/6pack
A Munich style lager brewed with crystal malt and Perle hops. It has a smooth, malty, slightly caramel flavor and a rich amber color. Abita Amber was the first beer offered by the brewery and continues to be their leading seller. Voted "best beer" in Southern Living Magazine.
PURPLE HAZE $7.99/6pack
An American style wheat beer with raspberry puree added after filtration. The raspberries provide the lager with a subtle purple coloration and haze, a fruity aroma, and a tartly sweet taste.
TURBO DOG $7.99/6pack
A dark brown ale brewed with Willamette hops and a combination of British pale, crystal and chocolate malts. This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate-toffee like flavor.
RESTORATION ALE $7.99/6pack
A brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma. Despite being located just 30 miles north of New Orleans, miraculously, the brewery was spared any major storm damage from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Abita began crafting this new beer the first day the brewing facility re-opened after the hurricane and a dollar from the sale of every six pack will be donated to Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation.
