2006 Two Wives Sauvignon Blanc

This wine is all about the celebration of some of the great characteristics found in great women-- beauty, style, class and compassion. The winemakers are Christina Madrigal and Elizabeth Naylor. Christina Madrigal is fifth generation in Sonoma Valley and has lived in the Napa Valley for twenty years. She is married to Chris Madrigal, of Madrigal Vineyards. Elizabeth moved to California in 1989 met the love of her life, Michael Trujillo in 1997, while working at Sequoia Grove Winery and Karl Lawrence. The wine is like a romp through a spring orchard of sweet and floral blossoms while your senses are seduced by flavors of fig, crisp melon and pineapple that entice you into it’s rich creamy lure then captivates with a racy, refreshing finish. 

2006 Siduri Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

We have been a fan of the Siduri Pinot Noir’s for a long time. The family was making top quality unfined and unfiltered pinot noir in the classic Burgundy frame, but letting the vineyard sites speak for themselves. In recent years their tremendous success has been noticed by both the Wine Spectator and Robert Parker calling them “One of California’s top pinot noir producer’s. One of my favorites.” With their single vineyard blends in the upper $40’s this wine is a blend of five different vineyards scattered from the far Western edge of the Russian River Valley to Sonoma Mountain. Here is a tasting note we found and couldn’t agree more with. “Really nice floral nose, with a classic red-fruit flavor profile, tart red cherries, strawberries. Great balance, full and broad on the palate, finely textured, and a pleasing medium finish.” 

2004 Benessere Vineyards Costa Del Sol Red Blend

Benessere is proud to be one of only a handful of family wineries with a specialized focus on producing the finest small lots of Italian-inspired wines in California. Explosive. Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Cabernet and Merlot. This big, full bodied red is loaded with fruit and packed with concentration. Very smooth finish. It's rare to find a wine that offers this much in the under $20 price point. This is an outstanding pickup!

2005 Dancing Coyote Petite Syrah

With the Wine Enthusiast giving this a “Best Buy” and such great flavor for this price how could we not share this great find. It’s a wine with big bold flavors of black brambly fruit and warm blackberry, this heavy hitting Petite Sirah is full bodied with subtle tannins that bring a long lasting finish. 

2003 Madrigal Zinfandel

The 2003 may be the most complete and enjoyable Zin Madrigal has made to date. The juicy red and black berry patch aromas with ripe old-vine like cherry and spice highlights lead to an extremely silky, lush mouthful of wine.
